In terms of experience, I have committed my professional life to assisting clients become more successful, based on his or her definition of what success is. I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts since 2004, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor since 2003 and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Massachusetts since 2007.
In terms of life experience, I served in the military from 1992 through 2000 having served in both the U.S. Naval Reserves and Army National Guard. I also worked as a clinician at the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans from 2003 to 2006. I believe this can be helpful for those of you who have been in the military and want a clinician to relate to. In terms of integrity and compassion, my personal practices of Catholicism have helped me both personally and professionally.
